David Morrison, B.A., J.D.
After beginning his career as a lawyer, David founded Morrison Financial Services Limited in 1987 with a view to providing tailored asset-based financing to small and medium-sized businesses. David enjoys every aspect of his role, from being a member of the credit committee, to planning and steering his company’s development, and watching the team grow.
David has recently been appointed a member of the Ontario Securities Commission’s Investment Funds Technical Advisory Committee (IFTAC) for a two-year term. This committee advises the OSC staff on technical compliance challenges in the investment funds product regulatory regime and highlights opportunities for improving alignment between investor, industry, and regulatory goals.
Alenna Emer, CPA, CA
Before joining Morrison Financial in 2005, Alenna worked for six years in the Audit department of Ernst & Young. Now, as the firm’s CFO, Alenna is responsible for overseeing financial and tax reporting, treasury activities, investor relations, and risk analytics. Alenna is a key member of the firm’s credit committee and provides integral, strategic leadership to the business.
Graham Banks, CFA

Matthew Solda, MBA
Vice President
Matthew is responsible for the origination and management of mortgage investments and condominium term loans.
Matthew joined Morrison Financial in 2018 and has a background in both construction and finance. Matthew has obtained a Bachelor of Structural Engineering from Queen’s University and a Masters of Business Administration from The Rotman School of Management.
Chawin Vajanopath, MBA
Senior Director, Operations
Chawin is responsible for the underwriting of mortgage loans and driving business operations and technology.
Chawin joined Morrison Financial in 2020. Prior to joining Morrison Financial, Chawin was a Senior Consultant at Deloitte Canada’s Organization Transformation practice focusing on strategy and building high-performing organizations for clients in various industries. Chawin obtained a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering from the University of Toronto and a Masters of Business Administration from The Rotman School of Management.
Fahad Warsi, CFA
Director, Mortgage Underwriting
Fahad obtained a Bachelor of Commerce specializing in Finance from York University and has prior experience in finance roles and construction financing. Fahad is responsible for underwriting, due diligence, loan monitoring, and portfolio management.
Vito Ciraco, BA, JD, MBA
VP, Institutional Investments
Vito is responsible for institutional investments primarily from investment firms, investment advisors, and portfolio managers. Vito’s securities lawyer and real estate executive experience provides institutional clients’ sophisticated and responsive service.
Scott Stevens
Sr Associate, Investor Relations
Scott is a member of the investment team and is responsible for managing investor relationships. Scott is passionate about private capital markets and incorporating technology to ensure investors receive a personalized and seamless investment experience.
Scott has a Business Commerce degree, with a minor in Law, from Ted Rogers School of Management and has over 6 years of experience in the finance industry. His passion for real estate investing and fostering long term relationships allows him to provide investors with exceptional service and investment solutions.

Ellie Binazir
Intermediate Accountant
Ellie is responsible for accounting and bookkeeping activities at Morrison Financial and its subsidiaries. Ellie has an honor advanced diploma in Business Administration from Humber College and a Bookkeeping diploma from Centennial College. She is also currently pursuing a commerce degree and a Chartered Professional Accountant designation. Ellie does photography in her free time.

Roksolana joined Morrison Financial in 2025, bringing over six years of marketing experience to the team. She is focused on implementing the firm’s digital marketing campaigns and communication strategies, contributing to brand growth and lead generation.
